Budapest City Tour
Passing by the Parliament we cross the Danube on the Margaret-bridge (Margaret-Island) and drive to the Royal Castle on the Buda side, where we visit the Fishermen’s Bastion (promenade ) and the Matthias Church. After visiting the Citadel on the Gellért hill ( photo stop ) we cross the Elisabeth-bridge and drive to the City-Park towards Heroes Square (promenade). Passing by the Opera and St. Stephen’s Basilica we get back to Hotel Intercontinental, where the tour ends.

We drive along the Danube to St. Stephen's Park (World War II. Victims memorial), New Leopold Town, former middle class Jewish district. Visit of the world’s second largest Synagogue, the Dohány Street Synagogue and the Jewish Museum ( interior visit ) – Jewish Garden – Tree of Life – Temple of Heroes – cake and soft drink in the kosher restaurant (possibility for lunch)- tour ends at the restaurant.

Visit the former summer residence of Queen Elisabeth (Sissi) in Gödöllö (the second largest baroque castle of the world) – interior visit and welcome drink – tour through the gardens of the castle to the Royal Stables and the Riding School – coffee and cake at the Palace Cafe. Drive to the Capuchin Abbey of Mariabesnyõ- visit of the Abbey and the tomb of the Grassalkovich Dynasty. Return to Budapest. Tour ends at the city centre.

Danube Bend Tour
The Danube bend – an excursion to Hungary’s history. Visit of Visegrad, the former Royal Residence (fascinating view on the Danube Valley) and Esztergom (centre of the Catholic Church). After the interior visit of the Cathedral in Esztergom we carry on to the baroque artists’ village Szentendre (guided walk). Return to Budapest on the Danube by boat, the tour ends at the pier/city-centre.

Lake Balaton
The Lake Balaton – „the Sea of the Hungarians". After arrival at Lake Balaton we visit the traditional spa, Balatonfüred (promenade) situated next to the Peninsula Tihany, the famous Nature-Reserve (interior visit of the Abbey founded in 1051). Puszta Tour
Spend an unforgettable day in the Puszta. We drive to Kecskemét (guided walk), and further on to Lajosmizse, where you will be greeted with a traditional Hungarian welcome-drink. Gellért Bath

One of the most popular baths for tourists. The medicinal spring here was already famed in the 13th century. The spa is decorated with a wealth of original Art Nouveau furnishings, artistic mosaics, stainede glass windows and sculptures, although the interior of the hotel built alongside has lost many of these fittings over the years. |

Széchenyi Bath

One of the largest bathing complexes in Europe, the premier medicinal bath of Pest. Its thermal springs were discovered in 1879, they are the deepest and hottest (74-75°C) thermal wells in the capital. The open-air sections with their pleasantly warm waters are equally popular in winter. |

In the atmospheric cellar of the House, where every wine-region of Hungary is represented in a separate exhibition area, approximately 700 different Hungarian wines and sparkling wines await wine enthusiasts. Thus, the wine-exhibition gives an overall picture of Hungarian oenology in a unique manner. Furthermore, not only does it offer the richest domestic selection available but it also introduces the wine-regions of Hungary with the help of multi-lingual tableaus.
